Exterior Services

  • Exterior Wash

Your car has many enemies, some visible, some not so much. Emissions from industrial plants are released into the environment, where they are transformed into nitric or sulfuric acid. When deposited onto your car, in either a wet or a dry state, these contaminants can eat paint and, in extreme cases, metal.

Having a clean, shiny car is one of the best parts of being a driver. Rolling down the street in a vehicle that looks better than all the rest feels really good. Getting that feeling is easy – all you need to do is take your vehicle to Sudsational.

  • Full Service Wash

Sudsational takes great pride in providing nothing but hand car wash services.  All of our exterior and interior washing procedures will be performed by hand by an on site technician.

You might be one of the many people who are in the habit of washing your car at home. Think twice before hauling out the sponge and bucket again. Hand washing, done improperly, can damage your car’s exterior. The grit and dirt clinging to the paint can easily cause scratches. The wrong sort of sponge or soap can also cause damage, or dull the color. Over time, the grime that builds up can even cause corrosion. While this may seem like merely an aesthetic problem, a car with a lackluster exterior will have a depreciated resale value later on. Given how much expense you’ve put into keeping your car running smoothly, doesn’t it make sense to further protect your investment?

  • Clay and Polish

Claying is the process of removing bonded surface contaminants from your car that cannot be removed by washing alone and that need to be eliminated before the polishing process, using using a synthetic poly clay. It works by gently pulling and lifting the bonded contaminants off the surface which then become encapsulated in the clay. A detailing spray, or designated clay lube is used to lubricate the surface to prevent the clay bar from inflicting damage as it is drawn across the surface. One panel at a time is worked and once the clay has picked up contaminants it can be folded and remoulded to reveal a fresh, clean surface and prevent any contaminants being drawn over the surface. Claying is primarily used to remove bonded contaminants from the paintwork of your car but can also be used on glass, metal and other parts of your car depending on the grade of the clay being used.

You should clay your car if you are looking to achieve the best possible results. The depth of shine and reflection of a polished and waxed vehicle may be compromised if bonded surface contaminants have not been removed. It is important to clay your car before polishing because if the contaminants are picked up during the polishing process they may be drawn over the surface inflicting light scratches and swirl marks. It is also important to ensure bonded contaminants are removed because they will act to attract and accumulate other dirt and debris and if left bonded to the surface for a long enough period of time may even weaken the paintwork underneath.

  • Premium Wax Service

Waxing your car is an integral part of car maintenance. Waxing protects the car from contamination and pollution. It protects your car from any damage to the paint. If the water does not bead up when it is wet, it is time to wax your car. Or, you could wax it every three weeks and ensure that it is protected from the elements and remains looking new. This will also add to the resale value of the car.

  • Paint Sealant

When it comes to protecting the paint on your vehicle you really have two basic choices: wax, usually carnauba, or paint sealant. The choice really comes down to personal preference; both serve in different ways.

Paint sealants are a synthetic form of paint protection. They last a lot longer, they are easy to apply, and there’s nothing natural about them. This is surface science at its best. A paint sealant is made of polymers, which are composed of tens of thousands of synthetic particles (known as simple monomers) which are linked together. A paint sealant doesn’t so much as sit on top of your vehicles paint as it bonds to your vehicle’s paint. It forms a rigid shell which protects a vehicles paint like a transparent chain metal suit. They are glossy and slick, but they do not tend to have the warmth and depth of a carnauba based wax. Paint sealants have gotten progressively more popular as time goes on; some people really love the hard-as-glass look. In an industry that is driven by technology, it seems appropriate that an engineered paint protector is rapidly becoming the new favorite amongst auto detailers, car dealers and auto enthusiasts alike.

  • Dash and Console Dressing

Detailing your vehicles dash is kind of like mowing your lawn: you could do a rushed job in a few minutes, and it would probably look decent from a distance, but as soon as you got in close you’d notice all the imperfections and spots that you missed. Your dash is full of nooks and crannies, vents and slots, switches and buttons. Cleaning them all properly requires patience, diligence, and time.

At Sudsational we have the tools, expertise, and capability to leave your dash and console looking like new. Dressing your dash and console adds a nice finishing touch to an already perfectly detailed car, and improves the way your car looks for now and the foreseeable future.

  • Leather Condition

While regular dusting and vacuuming of a car’s interior is enough for basic maintenance, cars with leather interiors need detailing and freshening up at least thrice a year to keep them as fresh-looking as the day they left the factory.

There are two types of leather material that are used in car interiors. There is treated leather and untreated leather. Treated leather has been coated with a thin layer of sealant or plastic that is not readily visible to the eye. Untreated leather is just that, leather that has been tanned but has no protective coating on it. The cleaning agents that you will use will depend on what type of leather your car interior has and you need to ask your dealer what type of leather has been used in your car interior.

Make sure you deal with your leather car seat problems as soon as they occur. Broken seats – leather or not – will lower the value of your car.

  • Engine Steam Clean

Maintaining a clean engine is very important because it prolongs the useful life of the car. However, cleaning the car’s engine is not a simple task; it entails careful cleaning and sometimes the right chemicals in order to carry it out perfectly. One wrong step can cause damage to vital engine parts. For those people who do not make themselves familiar with the procedures involved in using a steam cleaner, it may be better to bring it to car cleaning professionals
